Why Him cover

About this song

A raw, indie rock single written for the 5th anniversary of my father's death. For anyone sitting with complicated feelings, unanswered questions, or a relationship that never quite got resolved.

The story behind it

I wrote this for my father's death, to be released on Father's Day in 2026, it is about grief and loss. It's for the people who feel something messy on a day that's supposed to be simple. Loss, distance, anger, love, all of it at once.

What it means

It's about grief and what you do with the feelings that never got a clean ending. Not looking for answers. Just trying to tell the truth. The song is about the pain of loss and the struggle to move on.
